The Addams Family musical

BMLSS students are once again presenting a classic musical. This time it’s “The Addams Family Musical,” directed by Katona Files and Danica Mayes-Stewart. On January 18 and 19, you can follow the story, narrated by Uncle Fester (Rachael McIntyre), of Wednesday Addams (Hannah Smith) and her love for Lucas Beineke (Justin Cunningham).

As the story unfolds we find out about other relationships in the family: Gomez (Jerrod Meredith) and Morticia (Melissa Friesen) Addams’ relationship, Mal (Mitchell Brock) and Alice (Emily Kuehn) Beineke’s relationship, and the sibling relationship between Pugsley (Maddie Reid) and Wednesday Addams. With drama and humor this production will definitely put a smile on your face, especially with crazy Grandma Addams (Rebekah Friesen) and Lurch (Ethan Chouinard) in the mix.

During this production you will be seeing a total of over 20 actors, so there are many opportunities for song and dance. They’ll even be waking up the dead with the Addams’ Ancestors (Trinity and Elizabeth Albrecht, Freya Lebrun and Ellen Carton).

Be sure to check it out January 18 and 19 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students and you can buy them in advance or at the door through the Rene Caisse Theatre box office.

This year, there won’t be a school production for BMLSS students to attend so make sure to buy your tickets for one of the evening shows! Please see Katona Files, Danica Mayes-Stewart or Ms. Imrie for more information.
