Scary creatures roam the halls for Halloween

BMLSS really put on a great show for this year’s Halloween. There were dozens of great costumes roaming the halls, ranging from gory zombies to humorous characters. Breana Brochu and Shaman Johann coordinated together to be Cosmo and Wanda from Fairly Odd Parents. On the more scary side, Seneca Horvath-Stark dressed as a bloody zombie and Kieran Smith was an unzipped victim. All of these costumes would scare any monster in the dark.

Many students lined up to take part in the best costume contest. There were lots of laughs and everybody had a great time. Julia Conron said, “It was cool. I’m glad I was in it.” She had entered the contest dressed as an anime character.

The three winners of the costume contest were Sophie Allen, coming in third as the solar system, Delia Lehner, who came in second as the white rabbit from Alice in Wonderland, and Dylan Borne who took home first place in a unicorn costume.

Even some teachers joined in on the fun, dressing up in hilarious costumes. Mrs. DeMos was dressed as a candy bag, adding a fun twist to lunch duty.

Classes were very creative on their designs for pumpkins and door decorations. The life-skills class won the pumpkin contest and Ms. Imrie’s class alongside Mr. DeWeerdt’s class won the best door decoration contest.

All in all this year’s Halloween was a great success, with all of our fun contests. Will you win next year?
