On Wednesday, October, 3rd, BMLSS hosted a special evening to honour our excelling students.

The event started as the audience rose for the entrance of honoured guests, followed by the national anthem played by Mr. Jordan’s grade 11-12 music class.

Ms. Whitty, the master of ceremonies, started by introducing Trustee Binstock and Mr. Willett. Then students received honour roll certificates for achieving an average of 80% of higher accumulated from both semesters’ classes.

Once again Mr. Jordan’s class performed, this time playing a Michael Jackson medley “Through the Years.” This was composed of “Want You Back,” “I’ll Be There,” “Rock With You,” “Thriller” and the one and only “Man In The Mirror.”

Following this incredible performance the special awards were given out to top students in each grade, and the math contest winners. The Sarah Leeder leadership award went to Ethan Jurgeneit.

The evening ended with Mr. Jordan’s class performing “Hallelujah.” Overall it was an incredible evening featuring the academics of BMLSS.
